  • Kids Say the Creepiest Things. Seriously..the Creepiest

It all started with a comment from one of our staff members.

She told us that last night, while she and her daughter were playing, her three-year-old stopped suddenly, looked her in the eyes with a serious face and said “You are going to get killed.” She then turned back to her toys and continued to play. Needless to say, our staff member didn’t sleep that night and we were all pretty shocked when she relayed the story back to us.

And from there, it escalated.

Turns out all of our kids have had a few creepy outbursts over the years. So we took the question to you, our fans, to see if your kids are just as creepy and concerning as ours. And guess what… they are! So let’s share in the creepy comments that our Children of the Corn have said. These came from the mouths of our mums. Be prepared for some serious creep outs. Really, kids say the creepiest things…

The Resurrection

“My 7-year-old told me he was my Poppy and that he came back to me. Then he stated that when he is ready to have children, Sharon (my dearest friend who had just been buried) will be ready to come back too.”

The Water Visitor

“My almost 3-year-old was splashing water way up above his head in the shallows of our dam. He said that “Willy (my stepdad who died when I was 3 years old) used to do this when you were a baby and you laughed and laughed.” Shocked, I asked how did he know that. He said he saw it. Then I asked where was Willy now and he said, “Over there” and turned around and waved to a spot deeper in the water.”

I’m actually shivering right now. Holy shit balls…

The White Light Bullies

“When my youngest was about 4, we moved house and she refused to walk up the passage way alone (it’s not a big house!). It got to the point that she wouldn’t come upstairs alone. One day, I asked her to tell me specifically what her issue was and she told me that there were people in the hallway that were all dressed in “not white, more like bright light.” They would pull faces at her and poke her and pull her hair!!”

I don’t even know what to say to this one…

The Playmate

“When my daughter was only just sitting up (maybe 6-8 months old), she was having a lovely chat with someone in our arch way. I even had time to get my husband to come and watch. She picked toys up and showed this person who we couldn’t see. It was quite incredible to watch.”

The Prediction

“My 4-year-old son asked me who would help Dad look after him when I died. I assured him he had lots of other family that love him, and that they would always be there, although hopefully I would live a long time yet. To which he replied with conviction, “No Mum, you are going to die next year.”

The Pool Incident

“My daughter was about 3 and we were at a mate’s house having coffee looking out over the pool. My daughter said there was a little girl playing by the pool. Then said “her ball has gone in the water.” She then said, “Uh oh! The little girl is in the water” followed by, “She’s okay now, Mummy. She has her ball.

“There was no little girl there, of course, but we did find out over the next few days that a little girl had drowned in that pool several years earlier.”

Okay, this one wins. I am officially scared to keep reading these. And my children suddenly look a lot creepier than ever before…

The Perfume Smell

“While preparing breakfast in the morning, my eldest daughter who was 4 at the time, told me that there was a man standing in her room last night. She said that he smelt like “lots of daddy perfume” as she called it, then he disappeared. Still to this day every now again, she tells me the man is in my room with a perfume smell.”

I would move. The end…

Loving to Death

“My Mister 5 said, “I’m going to love you even when you’re dead. I’m going to dig you up and take you home with me so I can still give you love.”

So adorable…yet so creepy…

The Woman on the Rock

“When my son was three, we were out in the backyard cutting wood. He looks over at me and says, ‘Why is that lady on a rock crying…’ Totally freaked us out.”

The Mystery Notes

“There was a house we used to live in and every afternoon at about 5:00, my daughter would talk and roll balls down the hallway. She would hold her hand out as if gesturing someone to hold her hand and she would say, “Come on” and then run into her room. The really creepy part was, there was an old gas heater that came with the house, and every day, for about a week, little notes would fall out of the heater – the notes were written in a little girl’s handwriting, in pink ink saying things like, “I’m not happy’ and “I don’t want to live anymore.” My gut sank when I put the pieces together!”

Um…wow!

The “Old Man”

“My child told me that the “old man” tells her stories of her Mum, Dad, Pop and Nana and sings her funny songs when she is sad. My mum’s father was very close to us but died when she was only one. She is now six and says strange things like this a couple of times a year.”

The ‘Hi Nanna’

“My baby was chatting in her cot one day, I picked her up she looked over my shoulder and said ‘hi Nanna’….Nanna died when she was 5 months old!!”

The Sixth Sense

“I’ve had plenty of creepy! Two out of three of my boys have a 6th sense. When my oldest was about two, we took him to visit my grandfather’s grave who has a ceramic dog sitting on top. Before we got to the grave, he was so excited to see the dog. He hadn’t been there before – how did he know about the dog? And now my youngest is showing signs of the same things.”

This is the stuff nightmares are made from ladies and gents. Right here!
